Although the tradition of Cambodian silverwork stretches back hundreds of years, the French encouraged the development of silver crafts during the colonial period, and by the early 20th century

Cambodian silversmiths were receiving international recognition for the quality of their work. Beautifully detailed animal boxes are immediately recognizable as the work of Cambodian craftsmen, and as the supply of antique pices became more difficult to find, we began working with a small group of artisans, providing designs based on the best of the antique forms, commissioning traditional Khmer animal boxes in the form of elephants, frogs, lions, deer, turtles and ducks. Also, we have an extensive selection of bowls, offering vessels, leafs, fruit and candleholders of a contemporary design as well as decorative shells and fishes. These hand-worked 90% (and 99%) pure silver pieces make delightful gifts and charming collections.
